Hi and welcome to the Sage Acres Blog! I was trying to figure out a way to keep everyone up to date with what we have going on around the farm. It has been an experience this year with a move to bare property. We finally caved and sold the Boer goats (Thanks Alesia) because of our lack of facilities. We have had 60mph wind gusts, sub zero days and nights and just a plain old fashioned winter. The dairy does are hanging in there, and really doing pretty good. We have old fertilizer tanks that keep them out of the wind and snow. Of course there are 5 ft drifts everywhere, but all in all we just keep on going. This past week we had 2 does kid, Jerri and Amber, kids are in the horse trailer where it is warmer.
Stay tuned......................................................
